Hilary DeCesare:

If you want something in your life personal professional, you cannot cannot stay at a lower vibrational level. Because that dream that that goal, that outcome, that result is not at a lower level, or you'd have it.

Hilary DeCesare:

Welcome to the relaunch podcast. And today is one of those moments in time, based on what we were hearing from listeners, that I'm actually going to be sharing a relaunch story that impacted not only my personal life, but my professional life. And why are we doing more and more of these? And why will we as we go into the future, many times on these incredible conversations that I have with individuals, I asked them, what were the most significant relaunches that impacted who you are. And yes, I throw in little bits of my story. But I don't really share the depth, I don't share some of the traumas, I don't share some of the true relaunch stories that allowed me to actually have this podcast. And so we're going to be sprinkling in what I believe are some of the most significant what I believe you're going to be able to have those, those connection points, maybe get to know me a little bit better, maybe it will allow you to open up and share your relaunch story with our community, with the people that are also tuning in to this podcast, because every week, this is making a difference in their lives. So today, I am going to share a story. And it's actually really a great one because I just was published and another book from the wild series, and it's called Wild intuition. And I was one of 25 authors. And I had a chapter. And I remember when I was asked Hillary, what can you write about? What could you give that would be really so impactful on intuition. And here's the caveat, they said, but could you not put one of the stories you've already shared in your book, the relaunch, spark your heart to ignite your life, don't use one of those use a different one. And it brought me back to those days when I was in my office writing that book. And the publisher would say we need another, give us another story. Give us another story.

Hilary DeCesare:

And I went deep into my repository of relaunch stories. And remember, what is the relaunch the relaunch is really the mission, my vision is to allow all relaunch errs out there to become their own remarkable. And when you make that decision, to instead of thinking of something that's happened in your life as a negative, and you do a relaunch flip, and you create the positive version. Where does that lead you to? How does that change? Everything about you your perspective, doing the relaunch flip. And so this story that in the book, The Wild intuition is all about the relaunch flip. And when I first came out with this podcast, and for those that have been listening for almost three years with me, and I think we're up to over 225 plus episodes, probably 250. If you think about all the ones we've recorded, remember it was initially called the silver lined relaunch. And there was a question I either asked on audio or off before we started, if you could change what happened to you, would you and in the 200 Plus episodes, not one person has ever said yes. And I want you to know I wouldn't change anything about what I'm going to share with you today either. Even though it pulls at my heartstrings, even though it is it changed my life forever. I wouldn't go there. I'd still do it exactly the way I did it. And in relaunch throughout the years there, for me needed to be a framework, a process. Growing up Silicon Valley being at Oracle almost 10 years in the corporate world. I thrived on processes on steps. Give me that left brain. step one to step five to help me through the massive amounts of relaunches that I went through. And through that process, the relaunch effect, the effect that it has on you was created.

Hilary DeCesare:

And the steps are this, you've got to release what we believe to be true about past events, the stories we created around those past events, then, we need to explore the resilience of being able to move through it to move into the future. We need to be able to redesign it, the relaunch flip really look at it from where are you moving forward, we need to be able to rewire our brains around it, that there might be a silver lining that we haven't even uncovered yet. And then we need to reclaim not step five. It's kind of reclaim who we are now, the new different, not the new norm, because it is very different if you've got personal relaunches if you've got professional relaunches, and you might be going through them right now as I'm talking. I think you're really going to you're going to relate to this story, the angel war sequence. And yeah, it's a manifestation story. It's a heartfelt story. It's a mother daughter story. But most importantly, most importantly, it's a human existence story. It is the epitome of three h q, getting out of your head connecting with your heart, so that you can tap your highest self that best version of you. Not the one that can't even get your head off the couch, not the one that's like, is my life ever going to be the same? Am I ever going to be able to be happy again? Hopefully, with this story, you're going to realize that the answer is yes. And this is how you actually can take a process and make it in existence in your life.

Hilary DeCesare:

So there was a moment in time when my mom was diagnosed with basically stage four colon cancer, and it had spread throughout her body. And one of the things that I grew up doing when I was with my mom, is that we always sang Diana Ross songs, always. I mean, you know, the lady of hip hop, the queen of hip hop, I mean, oh my God ain't no mountain high enough. Ain't no river low enough. And we would belt it. And there became this whole time where I would take my mom to see Diana Ross. And we would, I mean, we'd be those idiot women in the front, you know, in the front row, screaming, loving her, just like giving her you know, all the energy that we had in our hearts. And what I want to share with you is that when my mom got sick, she moved in to my house, and I had one of my three kids still in the house and my daughter Rosie, was entering in her senior year of high school. So imagine what was going on in this house. You had mom facing the toughest year of her life. You had Rosie wanting to have the best year of your life. And I was in the middle. I was just trying to get through the days, just trying to be there in any capacity that I possibly could. Well, throughout the surgeries, the chemo, the radiation, there was always this glimmer and I always felt like I have always had this incredibly positive outlook. I have been able to literally shift any type of outcome and create the silver lining around it. So my mom we call her Juju bean. That was her nickname the bean. Mom was it was really an Interesting, she was a fighter, and oh my god, everyone she was on a treadmill, literally a treadmill every single day walking, saying, I'm gonna get through this, putting out the you know, all of this affirmations of like, this is not the end of my existence. And something I want to share is that as I went through the process that I'm not going to go through today, around purpose around finding your purpose around finding your passion, my mom, her purpose in life, she grew up in a time where her dad was a doctor, and she wanted so desperately to be a doctor. And when she went to her dad and said, I really want to go to medical school, he said, Judy, you can't take a spot that should be given to a man, I will not support you on that decision. So my mom, he said, you will be able to once you're 21, get married, and you can go on with your life have babies. Well, at 21. Her birthday was August 14, on August 18, when she was 21. She got married. And she was moving on with her life. So here we are, she was really her purpose in life was around Hillary, Jane. Hillary Jane and her incredible son, Gregory, James, and we were her life. And she got such high as the ultimate highs from being in the stories as we were telling the stories of our own life, she wouldn't be right there with us energetically. Oh my God, tell me more. This is so exciting. So when mom got super sick, and I still had full hope that she was going to kick this, this was she was going to be the miracle. I decided that she had never met the Queen Diana Ross never. I had had opportunities to go backstage corporate events, things like that, and actually had met her numerous times. And so I said to my mom, you know, let's do something really crazy. Let's go to a Diana Ross concert. And my mom had a cane. And she was you know, really at this point. So everyone knows it had moved into our lungs, and it moved into her bones. So she really was in quite a bit of pain. But she lit up. And at that moment, I decided, how am I going to get her backstage with the Queen herself? How am I going to do one of these meet and greets? How am I going to make it happen?

Hilary DeCesare:

And so I went into a process that I got to share with you right now. It's called Tune in, you hear me talking about it all the time. Tune in, energetically get to a different place. Because if you want something in your life personal professional, you cannot cannot stay at a lower vibrational level. Because that dream that that goal, that outcome, that result is not at a lower level, or you'd have it. So I knew I had to elevate myself with the tuning process. And so I went to town, I was like, Okay, how do I make this happen? And so I reached out to everyone I knew in the music industry, I reached out to people and said, Hey, I want to get backstage with Diana Ross and it every turn I got she doesn't do that anymore. It's not gonna happen. She you know, no, no. How many times have we just heard no hand up? No. Not going to happen, Hillary. But I did not let that get me off course. I continued to go through the tune in process. I continued to visualize create my mini movie where I saw my mom with Diana Ross. They were like talking whispering they were doing everything together. My God I even visualize them hugging. And so as I started to think about this, the last step in the tuning process is this micro step. These pops these pops of inspiration, these pops of like, hey, let's do quick hits. It's like popping the champagne. Let's have some moments of celebration. because if you don't, if you don't have those moments, you keep hitting the wall, you keep hitting your hearing no. And then what happens? You get deflated. It's like the balloon just roar. Right? So instead, I kept going, I was stronger than ever in my conviction. I was going through the tuning process, and I was gonna make it happen. But first, I needed tickets. And I was late to the game. It was at the Wynn in Las Vegas. And I realized that with my mom, if I didn't have a way backstage, I had to have her on the aisle. So I bought two tickets. Actually, I bought four tickets, my brother went and his wife, and I was all in. But here's the thing, we weren't close. We were still 2025 25 rows behind. And up until the day I walked in, I still can remember this. I was like, how am I going to make this happen? How? And remember, the whole idea is stop thinking about the how and thinking about the why, why is this so important? So I pushed off the house. I was like, I don't know how it's gonna happen. As I literally went down that path to get to those seats. But I knew it would happen. I didn't have a choice. I was so 100%. With my conviction to make this happen, I put my mom on the outside. I was right next to her. And Miss Diana Ross got on the stage, of course, well to pull changes, she was sparkling. Again, title of the chapter, the angel war sequence. So she got on there, she was singing my mom, oh, my God, you would think that she was 100% healthy. She was blaring out the words. I don't even know she still had her cane at that point. She was just doing her thing. And I looked at Diana Ross and I have been studying neuroscience. For over a decade. I got that psychology degree, I'm like, I am going to use everything in my toolbox to connect with Diana on a very different level, on an energetic level, that is one that would allow something miraculous to happen. And so I started to do my tune in process again. And I looked at Diana, and here's what was happening. I was so focused on her. I was just I mean, I was laser focused. And I realized, and again, I talk about this in so much of what I do the idea around hormones, around neurotransmitters. I'm thinking about all of it. I'm thinking about my daily dose, dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, endorphins. I'm like, make it happen. I need to be like, such a crazy level. So all of a sudden, I'm like, Okay, this is it. This is my moment of truth. I raise my hand. And guess what Diana Ross did? She raised her hand. I went into my hair, and I fluffed it up. And what did she do? She fluffed hers. And it's at that point, I started to absolutely think about the couple of months that I was creating this and that's another thing.

Hilary DeCesare:

Everybody listening right now manifestation. Having the tune in process doesn't need to take months years to get what you're ultimately going for, in your personal and your professional life. It can happen in a split second. It can happen if you do the work. If you tune in, if you become that expert in the process. If you take the relaunch effect and the five release resilience redesign rewire reclaim and start to own those as this is that next best version of you. Hire yourself and so here I was totally fixated, just laser focused, and Diana's says I want to bring someone up on stage. And I'm thinking, Oh, no, that doesn't work. Mom can't get up there. She brings a couple people, they dance. They do all this. And I'm like, No. And I am like, mom's right here. You need me mom, like all these different things. And all of a sudden, she says, You know what? I want to come down. I want to come down into the audience. And I want I want to sing with you. No joke. Diana Ross, got off the stage and be lined right from my mom. And guess what? She whispered into my mom's ear. She sang to her. She hugged her. My entire mini movie in my mind. The emotional connection that I had to it that I charged with it happened. It happened right then and there. So she went back and my mom's going crazy. And she's like that. That's a really great question. I tuned in. And, man, this was the best tuning story I have ever done. This was incredible. Diana Ross got on stage. Guess what song she sang not her own song. But a song by I think Gloria Gaynor, I will survive. And I'm thinking, oh my god, this is this is divine intervention. This is in sanely. Great. So Mom and I are writing a high. We're like, oh my god, this is the greatest night of our life, you're going to be fine. This is wonderful. And then we got home. We went to a doctor's appointment two weeks later. And we were told that the progress that had been made around medicine, the chemo, the radiation that had been working, no longer was working. And she was given literally, a short time to live. And I was so disappointed. I was so frustrated. I was so like, what, everything that I thought had happened. Everything I believed him was now literally coming to an end. And so what I ended up doing, I took my mom on a trip of a lifetime that we had always planned to have. She could we took her to a spa, we had said we were always going to do it we never did. There was always reasons why not to do things. And right after about two weeks later, she passed.

Hilary DeCesare:

And for months, I just kept thinking about Diana Ross, I kept thinking about her on stage, in her sequence, singing to my mom hugging my mom, loving up my mom when there was a disconnect. And then finally one night. It all made sense. You know those moments, when at 2am. You wake up, and you're like, you know running through a whole bunch of things in your head. And I did this often. But that night, it came to me so clearly that I interpreted. What was going on with Diana Ross, as a miracle from my mom that I will survive was for my mom. But in actuality, what I realized that my interpretation, my intuition wasn't wrong. It was misdirected. Instead of my mom survived surviving. That angel in sequence was singing to me that I would survive, that I would be able to reclaim my life that I would be able to move forward and that I would be able to relaunch and that I would be able to get past what I believed was a situation a relaunch that would crush me. That would never allow me to be happy again. And all of all of a sudden that all changed in that one moment in the middle of the night. I woke up the next day, I was like, I was just beyond excited. I was happy. I was like, oh my god all these months that I felt like, I, how could I? How could I be so misguided? This is what I do for a living. And I, it was wrong, it didn't work. And then I might Wow, it did.

Hilary DeCesare:

And so, as we wrap this up, I want you to think about your own life, about your own interpretations of how you view past relaunch events. What comes to you? Have you put a story out there that potentially, if you were to challenge that story, what would come up for you? What would be a different way to look at it, what would be that relaunch flip. And so, again, tuning in four step process, understanding that we all have to at times, pop the champagne and celebrate these micro wins these mega wins, as we recraft our stories as we rewire our brains. It's an incredible process to get really, really good at. So I invite you to really embrace the tune in process. And so we've created a free downloadable that you can go and get at the two it's just tune in power tool.com Tune in power tool.com Check it out. Start tuning in multiple times a day. I tune in 20 plus times a day. Before I get on a coaching call. Before I get on a group coaching call before i i get on a podcast or a TV show or start to put together an email or anything I tune in to what my expectations are. What's my intention for what I want to create. Now, it's become a habit for me. I know it will become a habit for you.
